Photos and clues

The builder reads files you select on your device and creates a smaller copy in browser memory. It uses those copies to make the downloadable PDF. The app does not send your photos, spot names, hunt title, or clue text to a server, and does not use an AI service to analyze them.

Your edits are not saved to an account or browser storage. Reloading or closing the tab clears the current project. A PDF you download remains on your device until you delete it. If you share that PDF, its pictures and clues will be visible to the recipients you choose.

Website requests

Cloudflare hosts the website. Opening a page requests the site's HTML, styles, scripts, and sample illustrations from its infrastructure. Hosting services can process technical request information, such as an IP address and browser information, to deliver and protect the service. This is separate from the local photo-processing workflow. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Optional Google Analytics

Analytics is optional. Before you choose “Allow analytics,” this site does not load Google Analytics or send it measurement events. Choosing “No thanks” leaves the maker, guides and downloads fully available. You can reopen Analytics settings in the footer of any page.

If you allow it, we send the public page path and a fixed site name, plus a PDF-generated event labeled only “sample” or “user_images.” That label tells us whether the exported PDF used one of your images. We do not include your pictures, activity title, clue text, spot names, original file names, image dimensions, URL query parameters or URL fragments in those events. The event measures PDF creation and the download being started; it cannot confirm where a file was saved or whether it was printed.

Google receives the technical information needed for these requests, including your IP address and browser information, and may process data outside your country. Analytics cookies identify visits in that browser. Our integration sets those cookies for this site only, with a maximum configured lifetime of 180 days. Advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. Read Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner sites.

Your analytics choice is stored in this browser’s local storage for six months, separately from the images and edits in the maker. To withdraw permission, open Analytics settings and choose “Turn off and reload.” This clears this site’s Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page to unload the tag. Download your work first: reloading clears unsaved images and edits. You can also clear this site’s cookies and storage using your browser controls.

Advertising and accounts

This release has no advertising scripts, third-party fonts, account system, payment form, mailing list or public gallery. If advertising is added, this notice and the relevant choices will be updated before it is enabled.

Adults and children

The builder is intended for adults organizing an activity. Do not enter sensitive personal information into clues or photographs. You can make a complete hunt without entering a child's name, age, contact details, or photograph.

Your choices

Use the original sample illustrations instead of personal photos, leave clue text generic, and inspect a PDF before sharing it. Clear the project by reloading or closing the tab. Delete downloaded files through your device's normal file controls.
